Mr Alan Jackson was exposed to excessive levels of noise, whilst working in the paper making industry for a period of over 44 years. Mr Alan Jackson worked for Robert Fletcher & Sons Limited in Greenfield. He was employed as a Painter and Decorator in the Maintenance Gang and exposed to the noise of pulpers, potchers, beaters, paper making machines and many others.
Mr Eaton started work at Hawker Siddeley on Greengate, Chadderton in 1972 as an apprentice fitter. The company was taken over and later became British Aerospace and what is now BAE Systems. He continued to work there until 2005.
