Mr I was exposed to excessive levels of noise, whilst working for Lamp Caps Ltd of Sheffield Road, Chesterfield, Derbyshire from 1977 to 1994. Mr I was employed as an apprentice fitter, a maintenance fitter and a shift supervisor, during this time. He moved around within the factory and worked in the training workshop, the Shell Press department, the Pinners department, the Vitrite department, the Dipping department and the mixing room.
A total of £41,000 compensation has been awarded to 7 Refuse Collectors whose hearing has been damaged whilst employed by Rochdale MBC Waste Services, all negotiated by WE Solicitors in out of court settlements.
Mrs B was exposed to excessive levels of noise, whilst working as a Quality Control Inspector at Lamp Caps Limited for a period of 24 years.
