Mr D was exposed to excessive levels of noise, whilst working in the chemical processing and pigments industry, for a period of over 28 years. Mr D worked for Huntsman Tioxide, which was also known as BTP Tioxide Ltd and Tioxide Group PLC, during his employment.
A former employee of Huntsman Tioxide of Moody Lane in Grimsby was exposed to excessive levels of noise whilst at work. This was a company that manufactured pigments. He was employed from 1979 to 2005. During this time, the company changed names several times and was variously called BTP, Tioxide Group Ltd, Tioxide Group PLC, Tioxide UK Ltd, Tioxide Europe Ltd and Huntsman Tioxide Ltd.
Mr J was exposed to excessive levels of noise, whilst working in the engineering industry for a period of around 4 years from 2001 to 2005. Mr J worked for Triplex Components Machining Ltd, during his period of employment (also known as Peak Engineering). The company was based on Mason’s Road, Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire. He was employed as a machinist throughout and exposed to the noise of the 25 ton rotary milling machine, which he operated and other milling machines within his working environment.
Mr M was exposed to excessive levels of noise, whilst working in the Paper Making industry for a period of over 20 years. Mr M worked for Robert Fletcher (Stoneclough) Limited, which was also known as ‘Fletchers Mill’ by employees and the local community.
