Toolmaker received Compensation of £3,000 for Noise Induced Hearing Loss.

Mr L was exposed to excessive levels of noise, whilst working in the engineering industry for GEC Diesels Ltd, which was also known as Dorman Diesels and English Electrical Diesels Ltd.  He was employed as a Toolmaker and exposed to the noise of lathes, milling machines, cutting machines, grinders, shaping machines and multi spindle drills, for the duration of his shifts.

During his employment our client was never provided with hearing protection or made aware of the danger of exposure to loud noise. He now suffers from noise induced hearing loss and mild noise related tinnitus, which was confirmed when he underwent a medical examination to support his claim.

WE Solicitors were able to negotiate an out of court settlement of £3000 for our client avoiding the need to attend a court hearing. Our client was pleased with the outcome of his case.
