Noise Induced Hearing Loss Sufferer Wins Settlement of £4,000 through WE Solicitors.

Mr A was exposed to excessive levels of noise, whilst working in the construction industry for a period of over 20 years. Mr A worked for Teesdale Surfacing (Paving Contractors) Ltd.  He was employed as a Block Paver and exposed to the noise of whacker plates and Stihl saws for long periods of the day.

Throughout his employment he was never provided with hearing protection and nor was he ever made aware of the dangers of working in excessive noise.  Mr A now suffers from mild noise induced hearing loss.  Medical evidence to support the diagnosis was presented in Mr A’s case and WE Solicitors were able to negotiate an out of court settlement of £4000.
