Noise Induced Hearing Loss Sufferer, Mr G, Wins Settlement in Excess of £3,000.

Mr G was exposed to excessive levels of noise, whilst working for Lamp Caps for a period of over 30 years. He was exposed to excessive noise from lathes, drilling machines, milling machines, jig bhorers, shaping machines, presses and many others throughout his time with the company.

Mr G was not provided with any hearing protection until towards the end of his employment with the company.

Mr G now suffers from mild noise induced hearing loss, which was confirmed when WE Solicitors arranged a medical assessment of his hearing condition. This was presented to the defendants, as part of the evidence, to support Mr G’s claim.

WE Solicitors were able to negotiate an out of court settlement for Mr G, avoiding the need for court proceedings. Both Mr G and WE Solicitors are very pleased with the outcome.
