Our client was exposed to excessive levels of noise, whilst working at Robert Fletcher & Sons in Greenfield from 1980 to 2001.
Throughout his employment with the papermaking company Mr Davies worked in various roles and departments including the machine room, the reel end and on the slitting machines. He was not provided with hearing protection until near the very end of his employment.
Mr Davies said he was turning the TV up loud and was missing parts of conversations which led him to believe he may be suffering with noise induced hearing loss.
Both Mr Davies and WE Solicitors were happy with the settlement, which was negotiated at the 11th hour before court proceedings were commenced.
