Former industrial workers at mills and factories in Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale have all benefitted from the help and expertise of WE Solicitors. David Webb, an ex-Smith & Nephew worker, received an out-of-court settlement totalling £3,250 after working as a beam gaiter for the Brierfield company in 1975 and 1976.  He also worked at G Ratcliffe & Sons (Felts) Ltd of Shackleton Street, Burnley, in the 1980s and 1990s . Exposure to the continual noise of weaving looms, left Mr Webb with mild hearing loss.
