Action On Hearing Loss have teamed up with Boots Hearingcare for another year to promote The Great Big Hearing Check – a campaign to inspire people across the nation to have their hearing tested.

If your hearing isn’t what it used to be, don’t brush it aside. One in six people in the UK have hearing loss, so you’re not alone. Ignoring hearing loss can leave you feeling cut off from those around you – affecting your work, social life and relationships. But with the right support, it doesn’t have to be that way.

That’s why we want you to get your hearing checked now. Because the sooner you take action on hearing loss, the sooner you can get back to living life your way.

This year’s Great Big Hearing Check starts Wednesday 19 August until Tuesday 15 September across all Boots Hearingcare stores. The event runs in partnership with Action on Hearing Loss (AOHL) who supports tens of thousands of people throughout the UK to get help with their hearing.

We’re encouraging people over the period to visit their nearest store and find out how well they’re hearing with a simple free hearing health check.

Last year’s campaign was a great success and helped raise over £35,000 for Action On Hearing Loss, whilst restoring more people’s worlds than ever. However this year’s campaign will be bigger and better.

Watch this space for updates as we move through this year’s campaign and for every new appointment booked during the campaign period, we’ll be donating £1 to AOHL.
