WE Solicitors LLP have obtained an out of Court settlement of £6,000.00 for Mr.  S, Mr. S was employed by Hoover Plc/Hoover Limited from 1978 to 2009 working in a number of Departments throughout his career with the company.

Mr. S was exposed to excessive noise from various machines such as fly presses, roll feeds, mechanical presses, Talent Press machines, cutting and drilling machines.

Medical evidence was obtained from an Ear, Nose and Throat Consultant who confirmed that Mr. S suffers with noise induced hearing loss and tinnitus. This was sent to the insurers of Hoover Plc/Hoover Limited and an out of Court settlement was reached, Mr. S is to receive £6,000.00 as compensation for his hearing loss and tinnitus suffered as a result of his employment.
