Mr A wins  £4763.53 payout after working  as a Factory Electrician at Asset International (later called Armco Ltd) from 1963-1997 at their premises in Stephenson Street, Newport.

The Defendants provided copies of documents showing the noise Mr A was exposed to reached up to 105decibels. The machines in the factory included metal forming machines, 400 tonne presses, rolling machines, galvanising plant together with press brakes and drum corrugators.
