Former Car Manufacturing Worker Wins Settlement of £3,500.

Mr H was exposed to excessive levels of noise, whilst working in the car industry for a period of around 30 years. Mr H worked for BMW which was also known as Austin Rover Group during his period of employment. He was employed as a Machinist and exposed to the noise of drills, lathes and grinders, for the duration of his shifts each day.

During his employment, our client was never provided with hearing protection and nor was he ever made aware of the dangers that working in excessive noise gives rise to. Mr H now suffers from mild noise induced hearing loss which was confirmed during a medical assessment of his hearing condition.  This was presented to the defendants in support of the claim,

WE Solicitors were able to negotiate an out of court settlement of £3,500 in relation to the case.
