WE Solicitors managed to win compensation for Mrs Edwina Chohan of Preston who was employed at Tarleton Mill by Carrington & Dewhurst (later known as Carrington Fabrics Ltd.) during the 1970s.
Mrs Chohan was employed initially as a Creeler and later as a Loom Cleaner. During her employment Mrs Chohan was subjected to excessive noise from a number of looms, which made it virtually impossible to hold a conversation, even by shouting.
WE Solicitors obtained supportive medical evidence from an Ear, Nose & Throat Consultant who confirmed that Mrs Chohan was suffering with hearing loss and tinnitus as a result of noise exposure.
