£4,000 Compensation for Noise Induced Hearing Loss.

Noise induced hearing loss sufferer, Mr E, wins settlement of £4,000 through WE Solicitors.

Mr E was exposed to excessive levels of noise, whilst working in the Packaging  industry for a period of over 10 years. He worked for Greenfield & Co Limited, which was also known as Birch Packaging Limited, during his period of employment. He was employed as a Machine Operator and exposed to the noise of case makers, printing presses, corrugators, gluing and stitching machines for the duration of his shifts of the day.

During his employment, he was never provided with hearing protection and nor was he ever made aware of the dangers that working in excessive noise gives rise to. Mr E now suffers from mild noise induced hearing loss, which was confirmed when WE Solicitors arranged a medical assessment of her hearing condition. This was presented to the defendants, as part of the evidence, to support Mr E’s claim.
